Dr. Meet Kumar

Dr. Meet Kumar is a highly accomplished Haematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant Specialist with 14 years of rich clinical experience. He holds his MBBS and MD from Jamnagar, Gujarat, and pursued his DM in Clinical Haematology at NRS Medical College, Kolkata. He has further specialized with a Fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplant at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata, and observer training in Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CART) Cell Therapy at Kings College, London.

Dr. Kumar has successfully conducted over 700 bone marrow transplants, including autologous, allogeneic, matched unrelated, and haplo-identical types, across India. He played a crucial role in establishing the first Bone Marrow Transplant Centre within a state government setup in Vadodara, Gujarat.

His professional journey includes experience at prestigious institutions such as Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi; SGPGI, Lucknow; BLK Hospital, Delhi; and Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon.

Dr. Meet Kumar is an Executive Member of the Indian Society of Hematology & Blood Transfusion and holds memberships with ISHBT, the American Society of Haematology, Bengal Society of Haematology, and Delhi Society of Haematology.

He has been honored with notable awards like the ‘Hisar Gaurav’ and ‘Global Award’ for emerging Hematologists. With more than 20 research publications in national and international journals and extensive conference participation as a panelist, moderator, and chairperson, Dr. Meet Kumar is a recognized authority in his field.
