He has further specialized with a Fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplant at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata, and observer training in Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CART) Cell Therapy at Kings College, London.

Dr. Kumar has successfully conducted over 700 bone marrow transplants, including autologous, allogeneic, matched unrelated, and haplo-identical types, across India. He played a crucial role in establishing the first Bone Marrow Transplant Centre within a state government setup in Vadodara, Gujarat.

His professional journey includes experience at prestigious institutions such as Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi; SGPGI, Lucknow; BLK Hospital, Delhi; and Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon.
