Dr. Meena Umachander Thiagarajan is a highly experienced Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology with over four decades of experience in women’s health, obstetrics, gynecology, and advanced gynecologic surgery. She completed her MBBS from Madurai Medical College, DGO from Madras Medical College, and MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Stanley Medical College. She further pursued fellowships in Gynecologic Endoscopy, including Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy, at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK, and in Heidelberg, Germany. She also holds an MS in Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. Her areas of expertise include advanced vaginal surgery, vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopic surgery for fibroids and ovarian cysts, management of complicated pregnancies, recurrent pregnancy loss, menopausal care, and preventive gynecology.
