Dr. Maulik B. Parekh

Dr. Maulik Parekh is a renowned interventional cardiologist with a career spanning over 16 years, marked by significant contributions to structural heart interventions. He completed his MD in General Medicine, securing the university's first rank, followed by a DNB in Cardiology at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Parekh pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in trans-catheter valve therapies and structural heart interventions at the esteemed Gottsegen Gyorgy Hungarian Institute of Cardiology in Budapest. 

At Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Dr. Parekh leads the TAVR and Structural Heart Programme and serves as the Section Coordinator in the Department of Cardiology. His proficiency encompasses a broad spectrum of structural heart procedures, including MitraClip implantation, patent foramen ovale (PFO) closures, atrial septal defect (ASD) closures, and left atrial appendage closures. As a certified proctor for TAVR procedures, he actively imparts this advanced technique to various centers nationwide.
