Dr. Manu Shankar is a highly experienced Clinical Director of Minimal Invasive & General Surgery with over 23 years of medical experience in advanced general and laparoscopic surgery. He completed his MBBS, DNB (General Surgery), MS (General Surgery), and FNB (Minimal Access Surgery). He specializes in complex hernia repair, hepatobiliary and gallbladder surgery, laparoscopic surgery for hiatus hernia and GERD, emergency surgery and trauma, VATS, laparoscopic colorectal surgery, varicose vein and vascular surgery, liver cyst surgery, bariatric and metabolic surgery, minimally invasive anorectal surgery, piles and fistula laser surgery, and breast and endocrine surgery. He is recognized as the first MCI-registered Minimal Access/Laparoscopic Surgeon in Faridabad and a pioneer in complex hernia repair techniques. He was also the first surgeon in India to use the PVP patch for umbilical and epigastric hernia repairs and has contributed to the DNB program for over 15 years.
