Dr. Mahesh Gopasetty

Dr. Mahesh Gopasetty is a renowned Additional Director of Liver Transplant with over 15 years of experience in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) and Liver Transplant Surgery. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and obtained his MRCS (General Surgery) in the UK. He completed a Fellowship in Abdominal Multi-Organ Transplantation from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), USA, and trained in Paediatric Multi-Visceral Transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), USA. He specializes in living donor and cadaveric liver transplantation, paediatric liver transplantation, small intestine transplantation, complex liver transplantation, portal hypertension surgery, kidney and pancreas transplantation, and complex pancreatic surgery. Dr. Gopasetty has performed more than 1,600 liver transplants in adults and children and more than 100 small intestine transplants.
