Dr. Lakshmi Kant Tripathi

Dr. Lakshmi Kant Tripathi is a distinguished nephrologist with over three decades of experience in diagnosing and treating kidney-related diseases, critical care nephrology, and renal transplants. An alumnus of the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, he holds multiple qualifications, including MBBS, MD in Internal Medicine, DM in Nephrology, and a Diplomate of National Board in Nephrology. Further enhancing his holistic approach to patient care, Dr. Tripathi has earned a Diploma in Yoga and a Certificate in Training of Yoga from BHU.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Tripathi has made significant contributions to the field of nephrology. He established nephrology departments and state-of-the-art dialysis units at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital in the Republic of Maldives and six centers across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). His expertise is evident in the supervision of approximately 53,000 hemodialysis sessions across various centers in NCR, achieving commendable clinical outcomes. Dr. Tripathi is adept at performing kidney transplants, including incompatible and high-risk cases.

His clinical interests encompass the management of resistant hypertension, challenging nephrotic syndromes, complicated urinary tract infections, and high-risk transplants. Recognizing the rising prevalence of metabolic syndrome, Dr. Tripathi emphasizes preventive strategies to mitigate kidney diseases. His dedication to advancing nephrology is reflected in his numerous original research papers published in esteemed indexed journals and the multiple travel fellowships he received for presenting his research.
