Dr. Dagar is a highly experienced and renowned paediatric cardiac surgeon specializing in neonatal and congenital heart surgery. Having obtained his MBBS and MS from Agra University and M.Ch in Cardio‑Thoracic & Vascular Surgery from GB Pant Hospital (Delhi), he has more than three decades of surgical experience — of which the past 15–20 years have been devoted exclusively to pediatric and neonatal cardiac care.

He serves as the Principal Director and Chief Surgeon & Head of Neonatal & Congenital Heart Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, one of India’s leading tertiary‑care centres for cardiac surgery.

Dr. Dagar has a distinguished track record of handling the full spectrum of congenital cardiac defects in newborns and children — from common valve repairs and septal defect closures to highly complex and high‑risk congenital anomalies. He brings to the table advanced surgical training, including a stint as Specialist Registrar at the globally recognized Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in London, where he gained expertise in extracorporeal life support and heart transplant techniques.
