Dr. K.R. Suresh Bapu

Dr. K.R. Suresh Bapu is a pioneer in microneurosurgery and endoscopic surgery in Tamil Nadu. He completed his MBBS and MS from Madurai Medical College, followed by an MCh in Neurosurgery. In 1981-82, he received specialized training in microneurosurgery under Prof. Gazi Yasargil in Zurich, Switzerland. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Bapu has held esteemed positions, including Additional Professor of Neurosurgery at Madras Medical College and visiting consultant at Apollo Specialty Hospital. He has been instrumental in establishing microneurosurgery in South Tamil Nadu and has trained numerous neurosurgeons across India. Dr. Bapu has also undergone specialized training programs in neurosurgical procedures from various centers in Switzerland, USA, and Japan.
