Dr. Kaustav Talapatra

Dr. Kaustav Talapatra is an eminent Radiation Oncologist and globally recognized expert in stereotactic radiosurgery and high-precision radiation therapy. He serves as the Director of Radiation Oncology and Coordinator for Radiosurgery at the Nanavati Max Institute of Cancer Care in Mumbai.

He holds his MBBS from St. John's Medical College and MD in Radiation Oncology from CMC Vellore, with advanced fellowships and training in prestigious international centers across Portugal, Italy, Singapore, and India.

Dr. Talapatra has made significant contributions to the field with 46+ publications in reputed medical journals, over 200 national and international presentations, and has played a crucial role in bringing the 'Best of ASTRO' to India. He is the Director of Varian Advanced International Clinical School for Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Joint Secretary of AROI, and part of editorial boards for journals like IJMPO and South Asian Journal of Cancer.

His areas of interest include gastrointestinal, lung, head & neck, and brain cancers, with a deep focus on high-precision and targeted radiation treatments.
