Dr. Kalpesh Shah

Dr. Kalpesh Shah is a highly experienced interventional neurosurgeon with over 20 years of experience in conventional neurosurgery, microsurgery, and advanced endovascular procedures. He has performed more than 10,000 neurosurgeries and over 2,000 endovascular procedures. He earned his MBBS from N.H.L. Medical College, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, followed by an MS in General Surgery from B.J. Medical College, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, and an M.Ch. in Neurosurgery from Gujarat University, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. He also completed a fellowship in endovascular interventional neurosurgery in Tokyo, Japan. His areas of expertise include brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), stroke-related conditions, brain tumors, pituitary tumors, skull base surgery, and minimally invasive neurovascular procedures. Dr. Shah specializes in flow-diverter stenting, aneurysm closure devices, advanced endovascular neurosurgery, and complex brain surgeries. He also established Gujarat’s first dedicated neurointervention department with a 3D catheterization laboratory at Zydus Hospital in 2019.
