Dr. K. Subramanyan

Dr. K. Subramanyan is a highly accomplished Interventional Cardiologist with a career spanning over 40 years. He leads the Cardiology specialty at SIMS Hospital, where he mentors a team of talented cardiologists. Dr. Subramanyan is proficient in various cardiac interventions, including primary percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), valvuloplasties, atrial septal defect (ASD) and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) closures, and pacemaker implantations. He has significantly contributed to the establishment of interventional cardiology programs across India. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Subramanyan has been actively involved in academia, teaching MD and DM students at AIIMS and training numerous DNB (Cardiology) students over the past three decades. He has also contributed to approximately 90 research publications in Indian and European heart journals.
