Dr. K. K. Handa

Dr. Kumud Kumar Handa is a distinguished ENT specialist with over 36 years of experience in the field. As the Chairman of the Department of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at Medanta - The Medicity since its inception in 2009, Dr. Handa has been instrumental in establishing and leading the department to prominence. Prior to joining Medanta, he served as an Associate Professor in the Department of ENT at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, for 13 years.

Dr. Handa's expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of ENT procedures, with a particular focus on laryngology, voice surgery, cochlear implants, endoscopic sinus surgery, microscopic ear surgery, and head and neck surgery. He is recognized as one of India's foremost voice and laser surgeons. His commitment to advancing the field is evident through his roles as the Founder Secretary and former President of the Association of Phonosurgeons of India.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Handa has received numerous accolades, including the Times Research Foundation's "Best Otorhinolaryngologist" award in 2012 and the Bharath Swasthya Samman Award by Zee News in 2015. He has also been honored with the Marquis 's Who's Who recognition for his contributions to ENT.
