Dr. Haresh Dodeja

Dr. Haresh Dodeja is an eminent nephrologist and the Director of the Department of Nephrology and Transplant Services at Fortis Hospital, Mulund. Since the inception of the department, he has been a key pillar in establishing Fortis Mulund as a renowned centre for advanced kidney care and transplant services.

He is highly trained in renal obstetrics and transplant medicine, with a Royal College Fellowship from Leicester General Hospital, UK. His specialized training includes management of complex transplant cases and long-term post-transplant care. Dr. Dodeja has achieved several firsts in the Mumbai region, including performing the first live related kidney transplant, first cadaveric transplant, and the first ABO-incompatible transplant in the Mulund area.

Dr. Dodeja is also an academic contributor, having written for Oxford’s reference desk in nephrology. His extensive work in nephrology has earned him respect in both clinical and academic spheres. He continues to train and mentor upcoming nephrologists and is actively involved in innovation in kidney transplant techniques and chronic kidney disease management.
