Dr. Gokce Sirin

Dr. Sirin is a leading cardiac and vascular surgeon, serving as Clinical Chief at Medicana Camlica. A graduate of Istanbul University Cerrahpasa (1997), she completed her specialist training there in 2004. After serving in the Turkish Military and earning a plaque for her service, she honed her craft at Memorial under Prof. Bingur Sonmez.

She co-founded the cardiac surgery department at MedicalPark Goztepe in 2008, accumulating experience in both cardiac and vascular procedures. She trained in endovascular aortic repair at the University Medical Center Utrecht in 2010. Between 2013–2018, she held academic and clinical roles at Kemerburgaz University and MedicalPark Bahcelievler. Since November 2018, she has led the cardiac surgery unit at Medicana Camlica, achieving full professorship in July 2020.

An accomplished scientist, she has authored 50+ peer-reviewed papers and presented at over 100 conferences.

Areas of special interest: minimally invasive cardiac surgery (on and off pump); valve repair and replacement; open & endovascular treatment for aortic aneurysms; carotid artery disease; peripheral arterial disease; varicose veins; deep vein thrombosis interventions; vena cava filters.
