Dr. Ganapathi Bhat

Dr. Ganapathi Bhat, is a highly accomplished and respected Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, since 2006. With over three decades of experience, Dr. Bhat has made remarkable contributions to the field of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, performing more than 400 successful transplants.

A pioneer in the field, he conducted the world’s first case of post-renal transplant plasmacytoma and the first case of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) in a seropositive patient in India. His expertise spans the treatment of solid tumors and hematological malignancies using chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. Additionally, he plays a significant role in PRRT therapy for metastatic neuroendocrine tumors and hormone-resistant prostate cancer.

Dr. Bhat is actively involved in medical education and research, serving as a faculty member for DNB Oncology and mentoring MSc and PhD students in Applied Biology. His work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, and he continues to contribute extensively to academic literature.
