Dr. Fathima Almas

Dr. Fathima Almas is a Specialist Radiation Oncologist at American Hospital Dubai, where she is part of the hospital’s cancer care program. She completed her MBBS at Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, Manipal University, India. She went on to train at Shirdi Sai Baba Cancer Hospital and Research Centre and at Manipal Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre, an ESMO-accredited center. She subsequently obtained Indian board certification in Radiation Oncology (MDRT) and also earned a Fellowship in Clinical Oncology (FRCR) from the Royal College of Radiologists, UK.

At American Hospital Dubai, she practices within a radiation oncology setup that uses modern, guideline-based technologies such as IMRT, SBRT, SRS, Rapid Arc/VMAT, IGRT, CBCT, kV, and MV imaging, enabling precise radiation delivery while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.
