Dr. Dilek Erkan

Dr. Dilek Erkan is a leading ophthalmologist with over 40 years of clinical and academic experience. Currently serving at Memorial Sisli Hospital in Istanbul, she specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, diplopia, glaucoma, uveitis, and neuro-ophthalmology.

Dr. Erkan earned her medical degree from Ankara University and completed her ophthalmology training at Hacettepe University. She further enhanced her expertise with advanced training at renowned institutions such as Moorfields Eye Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. A respected academic, she has authored over 80 scientific publications and led ophthalmology departments, including at Ondokuz Mayis University.
