Dr. Devender Bairwa

Dr. Devender Bairwa is a Clinical Immunologist and Rheumatologist with over 13 years of experience in diagnosing and treating autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders. Trained at AIIMS New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, and MAMC, he specializes in managing conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus (SLE), ankylosing spondylitis, vasculitis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, and primary immunodeficiency disorders. He is also experienced in biologic therapies, musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSK-USG), and advanced immunology procedures.

Dr. Bairwa is recognized for his contributions to rheumatology, having established the Department of Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology at AIIMS Bilaspur and launched its DM super-specialty program. He has contributed to postgraduate medical education, developed the Indian Cochin Hand Function Scale (I-CHFS), and authored numerous national and international research publications. His achievements include the IRA Research Grant, SZIRACON 2019 Rheumatology Quiz winner, IRACON 2019 Best Clinical Image award, EULAR certifications, and the organization of over 20 community outreach programs.
