Dr. Deshpande Vasudevarao Rajakumar is a highly experienced Director of Neurosurgery with over 31 years of experience in the surgical management of complex brain and spine conditions. He completed his MBBS, M.Ch., DNB in Neurosurgery, and Fellowship in Skull Base Surgery. He specializes in minimal access surgeries of the brain and spine, endoscopic brain tumour removal, endoscopic skull base surgery, brain tumours including skull base tumours, cerebrovascular diseases, and spine disorders. He is recognized for his expertise in endoscopic approaches to complex neurosurgical procedures and was the first neurosurgeon in Bangalore to perform pedicle screw fixation for spine injuries. He has also contributed to the development of a cadaver laboratory at Harper Hospital and has presented and published research on endoscopic approaches to the skull base at international forums.
