With over 30 years of super specialization in urology and over 23 years of outstanding service with the Armed Forces, Dr. Rajeev Sood has a wealth of expertise. He received the Vishisht Sewa Medal and is credited with performing the first laparoscopic live donor nephrectomy and cadaver renal transplant in the armed forces. In 1999, he established HoLEP, and in 2003, he was the pioneer in the nation to introduce the High Energy Green Light Laser Prostatectomy Program. In his capacity as a renal transplant surgeon, he has performed over 3000 kidney transplants to date.
