Dr. Col. Rajeev Sood

Dr. Rajeev Sood is a highly esteemed urologist and renal transplant surgeon with over 43 years of experience. An alumnus of AFMC Pune and AIIMS New Delhi, he has been recognized with multiple gold medals throughout his academic journey. During his tenure with the Armed Forces, Dr. Sood achieved significant milestones, including performing the first cadaver renal transplant and introducing laparoscopic live donor nephrectomy. He is also credited with pioneering Green Laser Prostate Surgery in India in 2003.

His expertise encompasses renal transplantation, laparoscopic urology, uro-oncology, and penile implantation. Dr. Sood has held prominent positions in esteemed institutions such as Fortis Healthcare, Max Healthcare, and Sanar International Hospital. His dedication to advancing urological care has earned him the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India.
