Dr. Chirag Solanki is a leading Consultant Neurosurgeon specializing in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. He completed his MCh in Neurosurgery from the prestigious NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and further pursued fellowship training at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University, UK, under the mentorship of globally renowned Prof. Tipu Aziz. He also trained in Endoscopic Neurosurgery under Prof. Y. R Yadav (NSCB, India) and received specialized instruction in minimally invasive ‘keyhole’ brain surgery from Prof. Charles Teo (Australia).

Dr. Solanki’s expertise spans Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), Ablation procedures, and Intrathecal Drug Delivery (ITDD) systems. He is recognized for his pioneering contributions in neurosurgical techniques for treating complex disorders like Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, epilepsy, spasticity, psychiatric conditions, neuropathic pain, and cranial nerve neuralgias.

He is an esteemed member of leading neurological and neurosurgical societies such as the INS, AANS, EANS, MDS, and more. He has been awarded multiple international accolades, including a scholarship from Oxford and recognition from the WFNS. Dr. Solanki is also a prolific academician with 13 publications in peer-reviewed journals and four book chapters to his name. Notably, he is credited with launching Gujarat’s first DBS & Functional Neurosurgery program.
