Dr. B.S. Ramakrishna

Dr. B.S. Ramakrishna specializes in inflammatory bowel disease, small bowel disease, pancreatitis, and therapeutic biliary and pancreatic endoscopy (ERCP). His academic journey includes an MBBS, MD in General Medicine, DM in Gastroenterology, and MNAMS. Throughout his illustrious career, he has been honored with several awards, including the Jacob Chandy Gold Medal for Best Outgoing Medical Student at CMC Vellore, the Hoechst Om Prakash Award from the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, the B.K. Aikat Oration Award from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the Yeddanapalli Gold Medal from CMC Vellore, and the Achanta Lakshmipathi Oration from the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India.

Dr. Ramakrishna has also held prestigious positions such as Past President of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Past Vice-President of the Indian Motility & Functional Diseases Association, Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Gastroenterology, and served on the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Medical Research.
