Committed to delivering world-class transplant care, Dr. Purkayastha has completed prestigious international training, including the Toronto-Vienna Lung Transplant Academy Program at Vienna General Hospital and the distinguished Greenlane Fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery and Heart & Lung Transplantation at Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand. During his fellowship, he developed advanced expertise in heart and lung transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, complex aortic surgery, minimally invasive cardiac procedures, and modern organ preservation technologies.
