Dr. Bilal Gorcin

Dr. Bilal Gorcin is a highly esteemed nephrologist with over 40 years of experience in internal medicine and nephrology. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University in 1983, completed his internal medicine residency at Karadeniz Technical University in 1990, and specialized in nephrology at Istanbul University in 1998.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Gorcin has held prominent positions, including serving as the Chief Physician at the Turkish Kidney Foundation Ahmet Ermis Dialysis Center from 1994 to 2024. He was also a faculty member at Istanbul Bilgi University between 2009 and 2015 and has provided consultancy to various dialysis centers, such as IDM Hemodialysis Centers and Fresenius Dialysis Center.

Dr. Gorcin is an active member of several prestigious medical organizations, including the Turkish Nephrology Association, Turkish Kidney Foundation (Board of Trustees), Turkish Organ Transplantation Association, European Renal Association, and the American Society of Nephrology. He is also a founding member of the ALS Patients Association and a Divan member of the Beşiktaş Sports Club.
