He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Surat, in 1989, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Government Medical College, South Gujarat University, in 1994. He has pursued additional training in advanced laparoscopic surgery, hepatobiliary and liver transplant surgery, and robotic surgery at renowned international medical institutions.
