Dr. Bhaskar Nandi

Air Commodore (Dr.) Bhaskar Nandi is a highly experienced Director & Head of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Endoscopy with over 33 years of experience in managing complex gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatobiliary disorders. He completed his MBBS, MD (Medicine), and DM (Gastroenterology) and has served for over 30 years in the Armed Forces Medical Services. He has performed 50,000+ therapeutic endoscopic procedures and has extensive expertise in advanced endoscopy, chronic liver diseases, liver failure and transplant hepatology, pancreatitis, pancreatobiliary interventions, inflammatory bowel disease, and emergency GI bleeding management. Dr. Nandi is also recognized for his contributions to liver transplant care, clinical and transplant hepatology, and advanced endoscopic interventions including ERCP, EUS, POEM, and ESD. He was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) by the President of India for meritorious service.
