Dr. Bharat Dalvi

Dr. Bharat Dalvi is a distinguished Pediatric Cardiologist with over 37 years of experience. He specializes in echocardiographic imaging and non-surgical cardiac interventions, such as ASD, VSD, and PDA device closures, as well as balloon pulmonary and aortic valvuloplasties, and the dilation and stenting of coarctation of the aorta. Dr. Dalvi received specialized training in Pediatric Cardiology at renowned institutions, including Children's Hospital in Boston, The Hospital for Sick Children in London, and the Cleveland Clinic in the USA.

He pioneered the technique of closing large atrial septal defects (ASDs) using balloon assistance and has been at the forefront of transcatheter interventions in neonates and infants. His accolades include being named an International Medical Scholar by the ECFMG in 1993, a PN Berry Scholar in 1994, a Fulbright Scholar in 1997, and a Cleveland Clinic International Scholar in 1997.
