Dr. Azmi Saundarya

Dr. Azmi Saundarya is an experienced radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of various cancers and selected benign conditions. She completed her MBBS, Diploma in Medical Radiotherapy (DMRT) from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Radiation Oncology from Apollo Specialty Hospital, Chennai. She also completed the Global Fellowship Program in Palliative Medicine (GFPM) through Pallium India in 2024. Her areas of specialization include breast cancer, gynecologic cancers, head and neck cancer, thoracic cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, central nervous system (CNS) cancers, skin cancer, soft tissue sarcomas, and keloids. Dr. Saundarya has expertise in advanced radiation therapy techniques, including 3D conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), brachytherapy, total body irradiation (TBI), and total skin electron therapy (TSET). She has also completed an observership in advanced brachytherapy and image-guided IMRT at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in California, USA.
