Dr. Ashutosh Marwah

Dr. Ashutosh Marwah is a highly esteemed Pediatric Cardiologist and currently serves as the Director of Pediatric Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi. An alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College, he further honed his expertise with specialized training in Pediatric Cardiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Marwah has dedicated his career to diagnosing and treating congenital heart diseases in children and adults. He has a particular proficiency in imaging complex cardiac conditions in infants and fetuses. His remarkable career includes over 2000 diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and more than 1200 therapeutic catheterization procedures, such as balloon septostomy, device closures for cardiac defects, balloon valvotomies, and stent placements in various arteries.

His expertise has taken him across numerous countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Fiji, Uzbekistan, Iraq, and Pakistan, where he has played a key role in providing treatment and training local medical professionals. Additionally, he regularly consults international patients seeking advanced pediatric cardiac care.

Dr. Marwah is actively involved in training young pediatric cardiologists and conducts outreach clinics across India in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab. He is a life member of the Pediatric Cardiac Society of India and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP).
