Dr. Ashok S. Gavaskar is a highly experienced Clinical Lead – Orthopaedics and Head – Joint Replacement Services with over 24 years of medical experience in orthopaedics, trauma care, and joint replacement surgery. He completed his MBBS from Madras Medical College, MS (Orthopaedics) from Madurai Medical College, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS, Glasgow) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He specializes in complex peri-articular trauma, pelvi-acetabular reconstruction, computer-assisted and robotic joint replacement surgery, minimally invasive hip and knee replacement, revision joint replacement, limb reconstruction, and failed fracture fixation. Dr. Gavaskar is recognized for his expertise in advanced joint replacement techniques, robotic-assisted orthopaedic surgery, trauma reconstruction, and personalized musculoskeletal care, with a strong focus on restoring mobility and improving long term patient outcomes.
