Dr. Ashiq Ali Raval

Dr. Ashiq Ali Raval is a highly acclaimed urologist and transplant surgeon with over 40 years of clinical excellence. He currently serves as the Director of Urology & Kidney Transplant at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. He is known for pioneering work in endo-urology and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Raval completed his M.Ch. in Urology, M.S. in General Surgery, and M.B.B.S. from the esteemed Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, University of Mumbai.

He underwent advanced urology training at world-renowned institutions like Johns Hopkins Institute, Baltimore, and Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Pennsylvania, USA. Dr. Raval has served as a consultant urologist in several reputed hospitals in Mumbai including Jaslok, H.N. Hospital, Saifee, and Prince Aly Khan Hospital.

He introduced Dornier Lithotripsy for kidney stone treatment in Mumbai and has numerous scientific contributions to his name. His publications span topics such as ureteropelvic junction obstruction, pyelonephritis, and long-term results of urethral repair. He has been a part of prestigious national and international medical associations including AUA, USI, MUS, and ASI.
