Dr. Anvay Mulay

Dr. Anvay Mulay is a renowned Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgeon with extensive experience in advanced cardiovascular and thoracic procedures. He completed his MBBS in 1983 and MS in General Surgery in 1986 from Grant Medical College & J.J. Group of Hospitals, University of Bombay. He further specialized in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, earning an MCh from the University of Mumbai in 1990. Dr. Mulay received advanced training in cardio-thoracic surgery in the UK between 1992 and 1996 and served as an International Fellow in Cardiac Surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital, USA, from 1997 to 1998.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Mulay has held significant positions, including Consultant at Leeds General Infirmary, UK, and Head of Cardiac Surgery at Caribbean Heart Care, West Indies (2003-2009). He has also contributed to various open-heart surgery programs in rural Maharashtra (2004-2005).

Dr. Mulay is an esteemed member of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons and the General Medical Council of the UK. His areas of specialization include Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, Total Arterial Revascularization, and Aortic Root Replacements. Notably, he has performed over 4,000 beating heart coronary bypass surgeries and has been instrumental in pioneering adult cardiac surgery, especially in the field of Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgery.
