She further pursued an MD in Oncology from the Institute of Naval Medicine INHS Asvini, Mumbai, in 1997. She received oncology training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, from 1998 to 2002 and served as an Honorary Consultant in the Stem Cell Transplant Unit at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia, in 2004. Since 2002, she has been practicing as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at various esteemed hospitals in Mumbai.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Sainani has actively participated in bone marrow transplant programs, cancer research, and has been involved in training medical oncologists through teaching programs. She is a member of several prestigious medical associations, including the European Society of Medical Oncology, Indian Society of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, Mumbai Hematology Group, and the Association of Medical Consultants. She has also authored numerous national and international publications, contributing significantly to the field of oncology.
