Dr. Anil Kumar Varshney

Dr. Anil Kumar Varshney is a renowned urologist with 40 years of clinical experience and surgical expertise, serving as the Senior Director of Urology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. His medical journey began with an MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, followed by a Ph.D in Urology from the Research Institute of Urology in Moscow. Additionally, he holds a Fellowship from the International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA).

Dr. Varshney has held leadership roles such as Director & Senior Consultant at Max Pitampura and Medical Director at RG Stone Urology & Laparoscopy Hospital. He has conducted over 100 national laser workshops and has contributed significantly to medical literature, including authoring a chapter in a notable book on Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). He was also the Guest Editor of the JIMSA journal for a special edition on Urology.

A pioneer in introducing Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) in India, Dr. Varshney's expertise spans Endourology, Lasers, Lithotripsy, Andrology, Female Urology, and Uro-Oncology. He is an active member of numerous prestigious societies such as the Urology Society of India, American Urological Association, and the World Endourology Society.
