Dr. Anas Abdul Majeed

Dr. Anas Abdul Majeed is a highly experienced Consultant Neurologist at Medcare Hospital Al Safa, Dubai, with 25 years of clinical experience in neurology and related internal medicine practice. He earned his MBBS from the Government Medical College under the University of Kerala, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine and a DM in Neurology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. His academic pathway reflects strong training from general medicine through super-speciality neurology, giving him a broad and practical command over both common and complex neurological disorders.

He has further strengthened his expertise through specialized training in movement disorders, including deep-brain stimulation, at the Cleveland Clinic, USA. He also holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management & Leadership from Cambridge International University. Professionally, he is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the UAE Chapter of the Society of Neurovascular Intervention, reflecting active engagement with recognized neurological and neurovascular bodies.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Anas has worked in India, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Earlier in his career, he served at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh as Assistant Consultant, Medical Coordinator, and Quality Management Coordinator, where he received the KFMC Excellence Award for Distinguished Physician. He later worked as DM-Neurology at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and as Consultant Neurologist at Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences. In the UAE, he served as Consultant Neurologist at Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, was an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah, and also held the role of Acting Chief of Medical Services at SKGH.
