Dr. Amol Kakade

Dr. Amol Kakade is a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist with extensive training from India's premier cancer institute, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. His expertise encompasses the treatment of various adult cancers, including those of the head and neck region, brain tumors, breast and thoracic cancers, as well as gynecological malignancies. Dr. Kakade is proficient in advanced radiation techniques such as Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), and Adaptive Radiotherapy.

He has a particular interest in brachytherapy, a specialized radiotherapy technique primarily used for gynecological cancers and soft tissue sarcomas. Demonstrating his commitment to pediatric oncology, Dr. Kakade leads a unique Pediatric Radiation Oncology clinic at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. Beyond clinical practice, he is actively involved in cancer awareness, prevention, and treatment initiatives.
