Dr. Amit Kumar is an experienced Associate Director & Head (Unit I) – Interventional Cardiology with 23+ years of experience in interventional cardiology. He completed his M.B.B.S. from KGMC, Lucknow (1999), MD (Medicine) from King George's Medical University, Lucknow (2003), and DNB (Cardiology) from Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi (2011). He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). He specializes in coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty including left main, bifurcation and CTO procedures, rotablation, peripheral angioplasty including carotid and upper/lower limb vessel angioplasty, permanent pacemaker implantation, ICD implantation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and TAVI. Dr. Kumar has performed more than 12,000 cardiac procedures and focuses on advanced interventional cardiac care.
