Dr. Amit Kulkarni

Dr. Amit Kulkarni is an experienced Director of Neurology at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, with close to 2 decades of experience in managing complex neurological conditions. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of stroke, epilepsy, headaches, multiple sclerosis, demyelinating disorders, neuropathies, myasthenia, autoimmune neurological conditions, and dementias. He is a national leader in the field of stroke and neurosonology and is recognized as a pioneer in neurosonology, being among the first in Karnataka and among the first five in the country. Dr. Kulkarni is also known for his expertise in stroke management and neurovascular imaging.

He completed his MBBS from KIMS, Hubli, MD in General Medicine from MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, and DM in Neurology from MAMC and GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi. He also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Stroke & Neurosonology at NUH, Singapore, and holds RPNI certification from the American Society of Neuroimaging (ASN), USA.
