Dr. Amir Faour is a highly trained Consultant Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist with international clinical training from Australia and the United Kingdom. He completed his BSc and MBBS from the University of Queensland and is also a PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales. His specialist credentials include FRACP and FCSANZ, reflecting advanced recognition in internal medicine and cardiology. He is also a member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC).

He began his career with internship training followed by residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Liverpool Hospital, Australia. He then completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Liverpool Hospital, served as an Adjunct Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, and later worked as an Interventional Cardiology and PhD Fellow at Campbelltown Hospital, Sydney. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Structural Cardiology at Leeds General Infirmary, UK, adding strong expertise in complex catheter-based cardiac therapies.

Clinically, Dr. Faour is known for advanced image- and physiology-guided coronary interventions such as OCT, IVUS, FFR, and iFR-guided PCI, as well as TAVI for selected structural heart patients. He manages a broad spectrum of cardiovascular disorders including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, metabolic syndrome, angina, atrial fibrillation, aortic valve disease, and mitral valve disease.
