Dr. Ameya Purandare completed his MBBS with distinctions in Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the University of Bombay. He secured first rank and was awarded gold medals for DGO, MD (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from Mumbai University, FCPS, and DFP. His dedication to women's health has been recognized through numerous awards, including the Best Resident Doctor Award by Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M. His leadership roles include serving as the Senior Vice President of the Association of Maharashtra Obstetrics and Gynaecology Societies (AMOGS) for 2024-2026 and as Joint Secretary of FOGSI in 2019. He has also chaired the Food, Drugs, Medical, and Surgical Equipment Committee of FOGSI during 2015-2017.
Dr. Purandare has co-authored 31 research papers and book chapters and has been an invited speaker and chairperson at numerous international conferences.
