Dr. Amal Premchandra Upadhyay is a highly accomplished and internationally trained Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist with over 27 years of extensive clinical experience. He has built a distinguished career across India, Oman, and the UAE, working with some of the most reputed healthcare institutions including Apollo Hospitals, Royal Hospital Oman, and Medcare Hospitals Dubai.

He completed his MBBS and MD from BJ Medical College, Gujarat University, followed by a super-specialization (DM) in Gastroenterology from LTMMC & Sion Hospital, Mumbai. Additionally, he holds DNB certification and prestigious memberships such as MRCP (UK) and FRCP (Edinburgh), reflecting his global recognition in the field.

His core expertise lies in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including ERCP, polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, and management of complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders. He is also widely recognized for his work in GI cancer screening, especially in Barrett’s esophagus and inflammatory bowel disease.
