Dr. Akash Shukla

Dr. Akash Shukla is a highly esteemed Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist with over two decades of clinical experience. He holds an MBBS, MD in Medicine, and DM in Gastroenterology. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Shukla has completed fellowships in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation from renowned institutions in Barcelona, Spain, and Pittsburgh, USA.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Shukla has been at the forefront of treating complex liver diseases, including Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Hepatitis B and C, Cirrhosis, and Hepatic Encephalopathy. His proficiency extends to performing liver transplantations and addressing pediatric gastroenterological conditions.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Shukla is a dedicated academician with over 86 original research papers to his credit. He has been instrumental in teaching and training gastroenterologists and hepatologists for the past 15 years. His research contributions have been recognized internationally, earning him the Plenary Award at the Asia-Pacific Association for the Study of Liver (APASL) in 2018, the Best Research Paper Award at the VALDIG meeting in Switzerland in 2016, and four national awards.
