Dr. Ajit Pai

Dr. Ajit Pai is a highly skilled and experienced surgical oncologist with special expertise in treating cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, including stomach, pancreas, colon, and rectum. He is also an expert in gynecologic cancers (ovarian, uterine, and cervical), esophageal cancers, breast cancer, and head and neck cancers.

Dr. Pai has received extensive international training in gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancer surgery in Japan and at Heidelberg, Germany. He further honed his expertise in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques for GI cancers at Chicago, USA. He specializes in performing the HIPEC (Heated Intra-peritoneal Chemotherapy) procedure for advanced peritoneal surface cancers.

An accomplished academician, Dr. Pai has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed international journals, presented at prestigious conferences, and authored multiple book chapters. He is a board-certified surgical oncologist in India and has received robotic console training certification. Additionally, he holds a fellowship certification in Advanced Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
