Dr. Abhishek R. Kini

Dr. Abhishek R. Kini is a distinguished Orthopedic surgeon specializing in Foot and Ankle reconstruction. With over 12 years of dedicated experience, he has undergone specialized training in the UK and Holland, honing his expertise in treating a diverse range of cases from athletes to individuals with complex foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Kini completed his MBBS at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences and pursued postgraduate training in Orthopedics and Traumatology under Prof. M. Shantharam Shetty at Tejasvini Hospital and SSIOT. He further augmented his skills with fellowships in Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in London, UK, and Amsterdam, Netherlands, as well as a fellowship in High Tibial Osteotomy in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Kini has been actively involved in academic and research endeavors, with thirteen indexed publications and over 30 presentations at national and regional orthopedic conferences. His commitment to advancing the field is evident through his participation in international research projects and his role as a faculty member for the Indian Foot and Ankle Society's educational activities nationwide.

Dr. Kini's dedication to excellence has been recognized with several accolades, including the Gold Medal for Best Podium Presentation at OASISCON 2009 for his work on "Evaluation of Acetabular Cup Orientation in Total Hip Arthroplasty" and at the combined meeting of the Asia-Pacific Society for Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Indian Foot and Ankle Surgeon's Society in 2012 for "Ponsetti Method and CTEV: Overcoming Ground Realities in a Developing Country.
