Dr. Abhishek Mangeshikar

Dr. Abhishek Mangeshikar is a leading expert in excision surgery and a prominent advocate for endometriosis awareness and treatment. As the founder and director of the Indian Centre for Endometriosis (ICE), he plays a crucial role in dispelling myths, providing accurate information, and promoting advanced treatment options for endometriosis. With extensive training in laparoscopic gynecological surgery, he completed a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan.

With a remarkable track record of nearly 2000 surgeries, Dr. Mangeshikar specializes in complex endometriosis cases, particularly those affecting the bowel, bladder, and genitourinary systems. He is also deeply involved in neuropelveology and imaging, collaborating with Indo-German scientists to train AI in medical imaging for better diagnostics.

Beyond surgery, he is an esteemed educator in laparoscopic gynecology, actively involved in medical training and research. His efforts extend to various gynecological boards, where he contributes to policy-making and advancements in women’s health.
