FAQs

Cochlear implants can restore partial hearing in individuals with severe hearing loss, significantly improving communication and quality of life.

The ideal age for a child to receive a cochlear implant is between 6 months to 2 years, but older children and even adults can benefit as well.

Recovery varies depending on the procedure. Most patients recover within 1-2 weeks, but full auditory adaptation can take a few months.

If hearing aids are ineffective, and speech recognition is poor, a cochlear implant may be the best option for improving hearing ability.
