Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur Bayraktar is a seasoned General and Colorectal Surgeon with a strong focus on minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery. He brings a wealth of academic and clinical experience, with dozens of peer‑reviewed publications investigating outcomes, procedural safety, novel extraction techniques (like specimen extraction in minimally invasive colorectal resections), and comparative studies in endoscopy, oncology and hernia‑repair.

He is well-versed in complex colorectal oncology, benign colorectal diseases, biliopancreatic interventions (e.g. ERCP in altered GI anatomy), hernia repairs, and advanced GI tract surgeries.
