Assoc. Prof. Dr. Melih Ucer

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Melih Üçer is an experienced Associate Professor of Neurosurgery with over 19 years of professional experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex spinal and brain conditions. He completed his M.D. from Mersin University Faculty of Medicine, followed by Neurosurgery Residency at Istanbul Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Hospital and a Visiting Scholar program in Neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA. He specializes in spinal surgery, including degenerative and minimally invasive techniques, spinal deformities such as scoliosis and kyphosis, spinal and brain tumors, infections and trauma, neuro-oncological surgery, neurotrauma, and functional neurosurgery including deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord stimulation. His academic and surgical expertise also includes minimally invasive spine surgery, percutaneous pars repair, and surgical management of Chiari malformation.
