Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Arnaz

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Arnaz is a distinguished cardiovascular surgeon affiliated with Acıbadem Bakirkoy Hospital and Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University Faculty of Medicine. With a medical degree from 19 Mayis University and specialized training in cardiovascular surgery from Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, he further enhanced his expertise as an observer at the Texas Heart Institute in 2009.

Dr. Arnaz has a profound interest in both adult and pediatric cardiovascular surgery. He has been instrumental in performing intricate congenital heart surgeries, including neonatal heart surgery, arterial switch, Senning, Fontan, and Rastelli procedures, as well as ECMO support. His proficiency extends to adult cardiac surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafting, heart valve repairs and replacements, and aortic surgeries, including ascending and arch replacements.

In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Arnaz is experienced in treating venous diseases through endovenous laser and radiofrequency ablation, mini phlebectomy, and managing deep vein thrombosis with endovenous thrombectomy. He also addresses peripheral arterial diseases using surgical bypass techniques and endovascular interventions like EVAR and TEVAR.
