Dr. Lanka Satyarama Krishna is a highly experienced Senior Consultant – Interventional Cardiologist at Aster Prime Hospital, Hyderabad, with nearly 20 years of experience in cardiology at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad. He completed his MBBS, DNB, and DM and specializes in interventional cardiology, coronary angiography, angioplasty, transradial interventions, and bifurcation stenting. Dr. Lanka was the first cardiologist to perform transradial LAD/D1 bifurcation stenting and was also instrumental in initiating a transradial angiography and angioplasty course at NIMS. He has extensive academic and clinical experience in cardiac sciences, with multiple research publications in the field of cardiology.
